The Northwestern High School Advanced Ensemble perform "John the Revelator" at the 2010 iSing Music Challenge, sponsored by Reid Temple AME Church in Lanham, Maryland. The choir one the 1st Place prize of $5,000, largely in-part to this performance.

About Us
The Northwestern High School Choir is comprised of 90 student performers in Grades 9-12,
and consists of seven performance ensembles which include the Advanced
Ensemble, Concert Choir, Encore, Gospel Choir and Women's Choir. Our two
seasonal groups include the Handbell Choir and Show Choir. The Friends
of the Northwestern Choral Society (FNCS) is a U.S. registered
non-profit division of our vocal music program, and the organization
serves to provide financial and operational management to the choir.
